"Man, I can't stop a nose bleed... oh man I am drunk"

18 former hawks took the ice last night, and the only point was a goal by Mr. Energy Adam Burish. The three goalies lost all their games. Hope you enjoy your last edition until after the All-Star game.

So the picture up loader wouldn’t upload the image today sorry, so you will have to mentally picture Tim Brent.. Don’t know what he looks like? Ehh most of us dont.

There were eight former feather heads to put on the skates last night, and they were able to produce four points; two goals and two assists. Three of the points came from an unlikely source, TIM BRENT.  Enjoy.

The Daily (Weekend Edition) Phil Esposito (1/24/11)

New team... Still a Dick. Do have to admit, would love to have his offense this season though.

There were four games Friday night in which just four former hawks played in. The scored two points all coming from the DICK, umm I mean James Wisniewski who is having a career year, while he is playing musical teams.

On Saturday there were twenty-two former feather heads to take the ice. Three goalies had a 1-2 record. The one win came from the net-minder that took 2 mil to go to San Jose, rather than to stay with the Hawks. The other nineteen skaters produced just four points, with two of goals and assists.

Sunday there were four former hawks to take the ice and one wanna-be hawk that took the gym floor. The former hawks were unable to produce a single point, but the hopeful hawk put his first goal in the back of the net in his first game of the season. For more information on that scroll down to the bottom. I have mixed feelings for the hawks performance this weekend… Played great on Saturday but not so well Saturday. Kind of two face-ed. Hope you enjoy weekend edition of the Espo!

Shout out to my boy Snoopy.

There were 12 former Hawks to take the ice last night, and they were only able to record one goal… it came from a Tropical Cyclone. (Get it? Hurricane? Sorry it’s a Meteorologist thing…) Interesting that Kris Versteeg didn’t play, could not find out why. Have head some trade rumors with Kris Versteeg going to a couple of places, and I will keep you updated on that. Hope you enjoy!

"I stayed on the bull for the full 8 seconds!"

Very busy night for the former hawks last night, in that there were only two skaters to take the ice. On his off night, John Madden went partying but managed to keep his shirt on, while Khabibulin got drunk and drove home. No big deal. The two former hawks that did take the Ice did as much as the two who were in the United Center last night, which is nothing. The two Av’s players didn’t play, they watched the Hawks shut them out, and how bout that? Our boys look like they make have figured some things out. Killing penalties and scoring on different lines, Ill leave the evaluation to Bartl, but I think he might actually be happy with this outcome. Enjoy!

"Holy Shit! I actually Did something tonight! LETS PARTY!"

There were 19 former feather heads to put on a different jersey and take the ice last night, recording two goals and four assists. The two goalies lost both of their games and continue with their bad losing streaks. Tuomo Ruutu has been a beast lately. Enjoy!

"Well this sucks... I have only won 6 games that weren't against the Blackhawks...".

In five games last night, there were 11 former hawks to take the ice. T10 of them were skaters who scored three points, one goal and two assists. The points were scored by guys that were part of the same deal, one to bring him to the hawks and the other to send him to Carolina, Tuomo Ruutu and Andrew Ladd. Both of them are on a pretty good streak. Enjoy the post as well as the Hawks beating two teams that they should have, glad that they annihilated the Islanders last night. Happy for Corey too.

"I am on FIRE!"

There were seven games that took place last night, with 13 former feather-heads, one was a goalie, the other 12 were skaters. There is lots in store in this version of the Daily Esposito. I have a lot of side comments on the players so I will keep this short. Just glad the Hawks got a win last night, made me a happy guy. Hope you enjoy today’s post!

"Do you dare me to take my shirt off?"

There were 15 former hawks to take the ice last night, 13 of which were skaters who amassed four points, two goals and two assists. The two goalies split their matchups. Good game in Montreal between the Canadians and the Penguins. Both goalies stood on their heads which led to a shoot out, where there were 0 total shots taken, and only one goal…

"This is the most ice time I've had all season!" -Ethan Moreau

There were nine former Hawks that took the ice last night, putting together three assists as the only points scored. One of the nine was a drunk goalie who just keeps losing. Sorry, I still don’t have too much energy after surgery, but tomorrow there will be a more in depth Espo, I promise, well unless the former feather heads decide not to show up…

I got nothing

In five games total last night there were seven former hawks who took the ice and they all shit the bed. The six forwards combined for a minus four rating, without scoring a single point. The one goalie that played lost to the hottest team in the league despite making it an impressive game. Sorry there isn’t more, after surgery I have no energy to write about every single player.

"Man where did all these people in the UC go? Oh wait, thats right I'm in Atlanta where no fans ever come to the game."

In 8 games played last night there were 15 former Hawks that took the ice, with 13 of them being forwards. The two goalies split decisions while the skaters posted eight points, with three goals scored and five helpers. A hot-headed blue liner also stayed hot by adding a couple tallies. Enjoy. I am unsure if there will be an Espo tomorrow due to myself  my 3rd knee surgery in the past three years today at 2 pm. If I am stable enough to do it, I will have it posted. Hopefully the Hawks can pull a win out tonight too…

"Wow where did this performance come from?"

There were 11 former feather heads on the ice last night. Nine of which were skaters who amassed seven points. Six of those were by teammates who decided to suddenly emerge and combine for three goals and three assists. Also a drunk goalie played well but his offense screwed him again, and the defending Stanley Cup Champion Goalie stood on his head. I have included a little more after each guy in this segment since there were some interesting facts. Hope you enjoy!

"I don't know if my back hurts more from carrying this team, or my previous injury..."

Hey Kiddies, I’m back! Sorry for not having the Espo out the last couple of days. My mother bought me a trip to Vegas for my 21st birthday/Christmas present. So I’ve been out winning money for the last couple of days. As for the former hawks, if you haven’t heard Daniel Cleary broke his ankle and will be out for at least four weeks, AND James Wisniewski was traded from the Islanders to the Canadians. Last night there were eight former hawks which took the ice which combined a total of five points, all assists. Hope you enjoy!

"You may be wondering who I am. Thats a good question..."

Lots in store for todays edition. There were 13 games last night in which 24 former Hawks take the ice. There were a total of 5 points scored, 3 of them goals the other 2 assists. I am not going to make this overview long because I have some long comments in analysis. Hope you enjoy. No games on the Schedule for tonight or tomorrow so there will be no Espo tomorrow. Also I will be on vacation in Las Vegas (Hopefully) Sunday till Wednesday so Bartl will have your Espo updates next week till Wednesday. Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoy this edition of The Daily Esposito.

"Have you taken your daily dose of Byfuglien?"

Last night there were nine former Hawks in action. Between seven skaters there were two points which were both goals, which both came from former Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks. Both goalies dropped their games. Pretty low key night for the ex-hawks.

"Yup, I'm still good, but that Marian Hossa is a stud."

Ok kiddies, 14 different Ex-hawks took the ice last night, and they actually were pretty productive. The Blackhawks South (Atlanta Thrashers) thrashed their opponent for the second straight game. In their last two games they have outscored their opponent 13-4. Also we saw a couple more shutouts in the league. Eight points were scored by the former hawks, four of each the goal and assist variety. A former Stanley Cup Champion hawk also matched and surpassed his point total of last year in his game.

"Who are all these Old Guys on the Ice?"

Sixteen former Chicago Blackhawks took the ice last night, and the 14 skaters combined for 8 points (3 G, 5A). A couple of guys had some big games while others seemed like they were out to have fun and skate around with their girlfriends. Of the 2 goalies who played, one came away with a heart-wrenching victory that we all want to forget, and the other who left us for “more” money to play with the Sharks lost his game.
