Thank you Crawford! That was the best goalie performance by a Blackhawk in a very long while. I think it was pretty crappy of the media to be throwing him under the bus for games 1 and 2 (scapegoat). I also couldn't help but be frustrated with the Handzus praise going on by the media. Like you said, sure, shorthanded, but when Smith centers that 2nd line 5-on-5 there is a huge difference. So, the only time Zus matters is when the Hawks are playing stupid hockey and taking bad penalties?
Defensive zone responsibility was better, but that St. Louis forecheck is still killing the Hawks. Hence what we saw from our offensive zone time.
