IF Crawford gets on a roll? 9-3-1, 2.03 GAA, .919 SV% over his last 14 games, that is a good enough roll in my opinion. He is the man for the 'hawks; like it or not, and Q needs to learn to put him back out there after bad outings (I cannot remember the last time he was allowed to attempt a bounce-back after a bad game, November?). Pretty telling how little confidence the coaching staff has in Olsen/O'Donnell. At a time when your top defenseman and 5th guy are out (I know Montador was dressed, but he didn't play defense, WTF?!), plus your top backup (Lepisto) out as well; Olsen and O'Donnell were trusted to take a whopping 6:46 and 7:54 while the top 4 were all on the ice for over 26 minutes. Hopefully Montador's injury isn't serious, as he is an upgrade over the current Olsen (though I think Olsen has significant future in the NHL). And has there ever been any word on Lepisto's injury? I'm assuming it was an ACL, but I have seen no reports about it at all. Not that we want him out there, but it would be nice to have him waiting as the 7th (or 8th if you like Olsen better), anything to keep OD off the ice.
