I think it was O'Donnell on the ice with Leddy for the 2nd goal, not Hammer. OD was on the other side of the net waiting for the pass that never came because Leddy got muscled off the puck.
Might be right, I was sitting on the other side of the stadium, but I could've sworn I saw Hammer out there. Either way, not a good sequence from Leddy.
Actually, it was a pretty good game to watch - lots of up and down. The Preds are a very good team. Remember, they gave vancouver all they could handle last year in the conference championship. O'D needs some rest in my opinion - he hasn't looked all that good the last two games. i actually liked seeing Crow break his stick, get fired up. yHe seemed to be more determined after that goal, a goal that Leddy is getting ripped to pieces by many people perhaps unfairly - he did have his man tied up - not a good idea to watch Fisher shoot from 10 feet away. corey's focus on that great glove save in the third was intense.
The Predators definitely didn't seem to be playing a boring game by any means. I enjoyed my time at the UC. They're annoying, but haven't they always been? Maybe it is unfair to rip Leddy so much for the 2nd goal, but I think his overall criticism of late has been extremely warranted. As far as Crow goes, he had a better game than I think people want to give him credit for. With that being said, he's still not smothering shots like he needs to be doing.
