"Finally I am playing up to my potential"

There were seven former Blackhawks to take the ice last night. They were all skaters and the four points they produced were all assists which came in the same game. There was a big game that affected the Western Standings which was the Ducks vs. the Flames, and there was also a humongous blowout. Read ahead for the details on how those two games affect the Blackhawks.

Travis Moen – Montreal
12:12 TOI, minus one

Brent Sopel – Montreal
15:16 TOI, minus two, two shots
I hope the ‘Hawks can bring him back next year. Maybe he can be the 7th D-man. We shall see.

James Wisniewski – Montreal
24:01 TOI, two assists (38,39), minus two, five shots
Continuing his career year, and having a pretty good season.

Bryan McCabe – New York Rangers
16:03 TOI

Tuomo Ruutu – Carolina
16:04 TOI, two assists (34,35), plus three, 7 of 12 on face-offs
Tuomo is now third on the Hurricanes in points with 53. He already has set a career high in assists this year whih 35, but he is one point off of his career best of 54. With five games left to play he may very well beat that record the way he has been playing lately.

Dan Cleary – Detroit
16:57 TOI, minus three, six shots
Detroit lost this game to the ST. LOUIS BLUES, by a score of 10-3! WOW! Does this show that they miss Jimmy Howard a little? This is unbelievable.

Rene Bourque – Calgary
21:36 TOI, minus one, four shots, 0 of 1 on face-offs
Corey Perry was at it again last night with two goals giving him 46. The Ducks did win and beat the Flamers. The loss means the Flames only have four games left this season and still remain three points behind the Hawks and the Blackhawks have two games in hand on them.

The one team to worry about is Dallas who is three points behind us, with a game in hand. The Stars face San Jose tonight, and face the Ducks and Kings in their next three games. The other games are against the Blue Jackets, Wild and two games against Colorado which could very well be eight points for them.
