@ murray cant believe you see kane's play as a bad thing - he has 25 points this post season (3rd, so much for "nonfactor") so while you focus on goals ("here and there"- he has 9 in PS chump, including game tying goal with 13 seconds left of 1st series game 5) you forget it's a team game which requires puck possesion, handling and passing to create offense -- which is why his play is so effective and smart for a 5'10", 180 pounder. it'd be ridiculous if he sought contact or got in the mix -- while the bigger bodies tool around and play on the boards he uses his stick skill and speed to take the puck away from those situations. you're probably just tired of seeing him skate around whatever goon you think is so good and cutting your defense up, slicing pinpoint passes through defenders. maybe you need to spend your time understanding how hockey players maximize their effectiveness instead of thinking all players should play the same way and posting asinine comments.

Murray, you talk of Patrick Kane's lack of board play and toughness. There was another player a while back who used to play pretty similar to Kane, never working the boards, floating around the perimeter. His name was Wayne Gretzky. Now I'm not trying to claim that Kane is just like The Great One, but give him some time to mature and I'm sure attitudes about him will change. And Pronger is a goon.
It is funny how the Chicago Tribune is bashing Chris Pronger and insinuating that he is a cream puff out on the ice. Maybe the Tribune sports department should take a look at the home team. The biggest pussy this whole post season is wearing number 88. That punk just floats around the perimeter and avoids everything. He is never in any of the games. He gets the odd goal here and there but for the most part is a non factor. He is that because HE is cream puff. HE is the one who is wearing the skirt. If I see Kane hoist the cup I think I'll puke. He probably can't even lift the trophy anyways. Oh, Patrick is such the tough guy when it comes to taking on cab drivers but put him on the ice........there are figure skaters with more toughness than him. Nothing but a fruitcake and a massive loser of a person.
Game 5 was absolutely AMAZING! But since not every one was lucky enough to be at the game, I just found this video of the chosen fans who got to shoot the puck during the break. It is soo cool! You can view it at: http://bit.ly/d3lMi 0
