Game 5 was absolutely AMAZING! But since not every one was lucky enough to be at the game, I just found this video of the chosen fans who got to shoot the puck during the break. It is soo cool! You can view it at: http://bit.ly/d3lMi 0
Hang on, you are upset because Laviolette isn't happy in the post game pressers. Geez, you have officially become a member of the fellowship of the miserable (sports media). He lost, he is supposed to be pissed. Show me a coach who is happy after a loss, and I will show you a loser. Give me the Laviolette's, Belichick's, and Popovich's of the world coaching my teams anyday. You can have Q-stache, Petesy Carroll, and the cheerleader types. -- Will they carve an asterisk next to the Blackhawks name on the cup, because of the easy road they have taken??
Yes, playing 3 teams that had over 100 point seasons is much easier than playing the choking Devils, the offensively weak and injured Bruins, and the exhausted 8th seed Canadiens, all while being in the weaker conference.
Guess we shouldn't be surprised that Peter Laviolette and Chris Pronger are equally jerky in their interviews based on how the game went. They lost? Laviolette is pissy and Pronger does his best to rip down/make fun of what the other team achieved. They won? Both are smug and both attempt to belittle the other team. Gee, kind of like their fans. Twitter post-game was fun of Flyers fans trying to say how the game puck "didn't mean anything" after Ben Eager picked it up. Yet just a few days ago they were mocking Chicago fans for caring about it. Those fans clearly took comfort from Pronger's stunts and were mad at being denied again. At least Chicago fans, when we lose, just pack it up and go home. The Flyers and their fans will never win awards for sportsmanship.
